I wish the hubby would just allow me to have our walk-in closet all to myself but I know that's not happening. So until I win that battle I try to work with what I have. I eventually would like to have a closet system but for right now this works for us.
I place an ikea desk to use as a vanity and I also made my own nail polish rack. The nail polish rack was made out of foam boards from dollar tree and decorated with scrapbook paper.
The Ikea Micke desk holds all of my make up that I don't use. Lol. Unless its a special occasion. It holds my perfume collection as well.
We also placed two Ikea Hermes dressers in our closet. One is on the hubby's side as well. I keep my jewelry on top.
So until the hubby allows me to take over his side I have to deal with this. I'm currently looking for ways to store my purses. They are starting to overflow the little bookshelf I have in the closet. Well that's all folks.
Later!!

Impulse Shopping
Over the weekend I engrossed in YouTube videos. I first started by looking at closet tours in hopes of finding ideas of organizing our walk-in closet. For some reason, most of the videos I saw were people giving tours of their closet, but also mentioning certain products that they recently purchased. In video after video I heard about Revlon Lip Butters and Maybelline's Baby lips. Well, I just couldn't help myself and had to find out what they hype was all about.
So I purchased two Revlon Lip Butters in Peach Parfait, and Brown Sugar. Then I purchased baby lips in Peach Kiss. Well after applying, I can understand why there is such an uproar on the lip butters, but I could have left the baby lips in the store. I think I will give the peppermint baby lips a try, but I know I won't be buying any of the others.
As I sit here and type this post the lip butter is still smooth although I recommend some type of lip exfoliant before starting to use any of these products. That will insure smooth application. I see more lip butters in my future. While shopping at Rite Aid, I couldn't help but notice all of the 75% off stickers. They had tons of nail polishes on sale. The two pictured above were only 50 cents a piece. I will go back tomorrow for some other colors.
Happy Shopping!!!
